A proper steakhouse favourite!
Sirloin is a wonderful middle ground between the delicate tenderness of fillet and the richer, more generously marbled ribeye. Naturally tender, with a satisfying bite and plenty of beef flavour, it's a classic cut that never disappoints.
Our Aberdeen Angus cattle are born and reared within five miles of our Farm Shop in Kintore. The beef is carefully matured before our skilled Butchery team at Boghead Farm prepares each steak.
One of the lovely things about sirloin is its natural fat covering. As it cooks, the fat renders and adds flavour, helping to keep the steak beautifully juicy. A hot pan or grill, a good sear and a little resting time are all you need.
